Morinaga Nama Ramune Gummies - Cola Flavor

I'd first like to state these are like a damn candy tattoo, as I'm sure I'll be tasting them forever. When purchasing them I thought "harmless gummies" but this is Munchies de Sade and we don't play that shit 'round here. These are thermo fucking nuclear when it come to taste. Hours after eating just one small cube I was still tasting the slightly sour cola flavor (not too far off from a 7/11 slushy that's been sitting out for a bit). They're not gummies either yet they live in the same neighborhood. They have sugary grit to them (which I'm sure is top secret proprietary fun time formula) but kind of squishy like a gummy. They're moist as well, probably chock full of cola good feelings or something. I was told they change texture depending on the temperature, so I put one in the fridge and one in the freezer. The fridge gummy almost resembled a softer candy corn while the freezer sample DID NOT FREEZE! Obviously some kind of alchemy is responsible. While I kind of enjoyed these, just keep in mind they are more weapon than treat, a true Boston Baked Bean.

Green Plus Fruit Snack - Tomato & Tamarind Flavor

If you are a Canadian or American reader, you may remember *Fizz* candies? The hard candy with the fizzy sherbert powder center? These are somewhat like those but soft and not really fizzy and taste like tamarind. Stupid, I know, but that's what they remind me of! I'm not sure where the tomato flavor comes into play, I couldn't taste any. These are just boring and blah.

Hokkaido Genghis Khan Caramel - Grilled Lamb Flavour

I gave these a "Good" rating but to be honest, I am disappointed. When I first laid eyes on these things I thought, "Oh shit, I've never heard of anything so gross! I've got to try them!!" (Yes, I wish for things to be gross!!). They're really not that bad, actually, they're pretty good. Think candy corn / Kraft caramels with just the slightest meat taste best described as....yes, grilled lamb. The texture is a little waxy maybe. Oh well, you can't loose them all! Coconut Jelly - Lychee Flavour

Rating - Good

This Lychee Flavor Coconut Jelly from Taiwan. I picked this up at Wal-Mart in the International section. There is about ten individual packets in the bag. At first I thought this might be like the jelly you would spread on your toast. They are actually more like a jello shot without the alcohol. Kind of odd but tasty. Remember to "chew thoroughly before swallowing". Good!

Kit Kat - Red Potato Flavour

This is a red potato flavoured Kit Kat from Japan that I picked up on Ebay. I've tried a bunch of Japanese Kit Kats now and they are always good. This one was a little odd in that it didn't taste potato like at all. It kind of tasted fruity and was reddish in colour. Definitely good but I was hoping for some potato taste.

Botan Rice Candy

This is Botan Rice Candy from Japan. I got it on Ebay for a buck. Its a chewy candy that tastes like a mix of orange and lemon. The cool thing about this is that you can eat the wrapper. After you get the candy out of the box and get through the first wrapper. Comes with a sticker! Good.

Kit Kat - Wasabi Flavour

Rating - Awesome
This is a wasabi flavoured Kit Kat from Japan. I picked
it up on Ebay and lemmie tell ya, it was worth every
fucking penny! First, this is a green chocolate bar, so
don't be scared when you unwrap it. The chocolate is white
instead of brown; not sure why, maybe white holds the
flavour better. The wasabi taste is very subtle, nothing
overpowering. There is a great, slight tongue and nasal
burn. Very slight, again nothing overpowering.

Maple Bacon Lollipop

This is a maple bacon lollipop I picked up on Ebay.
I'd say its good. Not great because it's a little
light on the bacon taste. There are little bits of
bacon in it and every now and then you get a little
salt taste. They should have put more bacon in it.

Kit Kat - Green Tea Flavour

This is a green tea flavoured Kit Kat from Japan that I found on Ebay.
It was really quite good.  The chocolate tasted like white chocolate
and the green tea taste was subtle. I would definitely eat this again.

Effervescent Bacon Drink Tabs

These are Effervescent Bacon Drink Tabs that I found on Ebay.
You are supposed to throw them in water and they make your
water taste bacon-y. So that's what I did and nothing much
happened. They didn't dissolve. So then I tried throwing
them in club soda and that seemed to work better but it
tasted like slightly salty club soda at best. I'm going
to keep trying but right now this product sucks ass.

Pulparindo

WHAT THE SHIT??? Upon opening and smelling the product you'll notice the smell of dirt. Possibly the smell of someone who sleeps in a barn...in the dirt. The taste is nothing you'd expect really, somewhat like "Fizz candy" mixed into a thick fruit roll-up although it's very sour and very intense (and even a little spicy). It's both chewy and sandy in texture. I can see why it's so small, I was in pain by the end, it's just too intense. I'm imagining a barn somewhere where they have crust punks locked up and constantly fed sugar, every Saturday someone comes along and carves a thick piece of dried skin off each of their heels and packages it up as Pulparindo. Too far? Boston Baked Beans, because I liked it for some reason...

If you love the idea of munching on the world's saltiest raisin, then this is the candy for you. Okay, this was not candy. Candy is sweet and delicious, not a gritty, spicy atrocity. A couple bites was all I could stand and I watched in horror as Andy continued to eat his. Glico Caplico mini Japan Cone - Strawberry Flavour

Origin - Japan / Thailand

Rating - Good
The name is a mouthful, sadly so is the cone. It was really small, about the size of my middle finger (**British Accent**~ UP YOURS GLICOOOOOOOOOO). It tasted great and had a really intense strawberry milkshake scent. It reminded me of slightly wet astronaut's (freeze dried) ice cream or as Ms. K pointed out, one of those layered wafer cookies. It is what it is.

The package makes you think cardboard cone with marshmallow filling. So on the first bite the texture caught me off guard. But on second bite I nailed it as strawberry wafer cookie. Tasty but not the food adventure your looking for. The only bad thing about it was the smell was very fake and a bit plastic-y, like Strawberry Shortcake's head.

Ball Park Gumballs ~ Hotdog, Peanut & Beer Flavour

These are Ballpark Gumballs and I found them on Ebay. There is actually three flavours in the tin, hot dog, peanut, and beer. Hot dog was not bad, kind of strange eating meat gum, but it was ok.
